JOB OVERVIEW:
Servicing on-site hydraulic hose repairs on construction, ground support, mining and other machines in the lower mainland and surrounding area. Job entails promoting the company through exceptional customer service and profound professionalism.
General Duties:
- Identifying, cutting, fitting, and attaching hoses and fittings according to specifications and guidelines
- Asses and perform additional hydraulic maintenance and tasks such as inspecting equipment, repairs and troubleshooting.
- Manage truck inventory; complete paperwork and reports in a timely fashion.
- Develop business and relationships by providing solutions and promoting our products and services
- Operate vehicle and machinery safely, and keep truck and work environment clean and organized.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and personal development through in-house, external and manufacturer training.
Pre-requisites:
Team player, service oriented, and MUST have proven mechanical ability. Required capabilities include; manual dexterity; accuracy in measuring and basic mathematical skills; able to lift 50 - 70 lbs; able to bend, twist, stand for extended periods, walk, crouch & climb. Must be willing to rotate on-call after hours/shift/ overtime with other hose techs as this is a 24/7 mobile operation. A valid class 5 and clean drivers abstract is required.
