Great North, a Dril-Quip Company, is currently searching for a Field Service Excellence Manager. Reporting directly to the GNWF Operations Manager the Field Service Excellence Manager is responsible for working directly with Field Service Tecs, Base Managers, Engineering, Quality , Operation Managers . Along with their expectation of quality product, understand service is paramount to our customers.
Location: Edmonton based
Salary: Commensurate with experience
Type: Full-time permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hour shift, Overtime required as needed

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Continue to Develop and manage the Service Technician Training Program
- Conduct Shop Training for new Field Service Technicians
- Audit employee training competences in conjunction with location Managers
- Assist in the development and success of a strong service team
- Collaborate with all other divisions and branches, supporting in cross-training and inter-branch support
- Must meet the physical demands and requirements of the job on a regular and consistent basis: This role involves regularly lifting 50lbs, bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, walking and/or sitting for extended periods of time. In addition to the physical nature of this position, this role involves performing tasks in severe weather conditions as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Min 3-5 years Wellhead / Frac equipment experience
- Gate Valve knowledge / repair experience
- Valid class 5 license required (non gdl)
- Knuckle picker experience and certification considered an asset.
- H2S, First Aid, CSO required.
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing to all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
- Strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and commitment to safety.
- Service oriented with strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to the field as well had GNWF locations in Alberta and Sask
