Network Engineer
With multiple awards to our name, Larian Studios has proven that we’re dedicated to delivering high-quality role-playing games. We are now looking for a Network Engineer to join our growing IT team.
Responsibilities
Ensure the global production network environments is available 24x7
Configure, install and maintain network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, VPN appliances, servers, …)
Maximize network performance
Evaluate new hardware and software solutions
Daily system monitoring and health checks
Provide support for network related issues
Requirements
Deep knowledge of networking systems and protocols (routers, switches, load balancers,etc)
Advanced knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, SSL, DNS)
Experience in LAN/WAN (Ethernet, Fiber)
Experience with routing protocols (OSPF/BGP/MPLS)
Experience in configuration and management of firewalls and switches (Palo Alto, Cisco, Dell)
Experience working in an enterprise datacenter environment
Strong documentation and reporting skills
Willing to work in an on-call system
Nice to Have
Experience with Vmware
Experience with Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Experience with Linux
Experience with DAS/SAN technologies
Experience with monitoring tools (Solarwinds, Zabbix, Nagios,...)
