Transit Driver
Multiple Openings – Full-Time Seasonal Positions Available (October 2023 - April 2024)
PWTransit is currently seeking career oriented Conventional Transit Bus Drivers to join our team in Whistler, British Columbia. Transit Drivers are responsible for safely transporting passengers on a daily basis and must be committed to providing superior service. Commitment, patience, maturity, and initiative are all required qualities.

Position Requirements:
- A valid Class 1 or 2 driver's license with air brake endorsement; license upgrades will also be considered for candidates meeting all other criteria
- Driver's abstract with no more than 3 demerit points
- Willingness to undergo drug and alcohol screening
- Clear criminal record
- Must be organized, punctual and reliable
- Possess excellent driving skills and habits
- Ability to read maps and navigate
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to make sound decisions on short notice under stressful situations in all types of weather
- A good knowledge of the local area is a definite asset
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safely transport passengers on a number of assigned routes in Whistler, Squamish and Pemberton
- Manage passenger behaviour by quickly and effectively solving problems
- Drive safely and responsibly and be prepared for all road and traffic conditions
Job Types: Seasonal, Full-time
Salary: From $31.06 per hour
