Responsibilities

Ability to read and interpret blueprints to determine dimensions, tolerances, and layout of work

Ability to read and understand the imperial system of measurement

Determine the appropriate welding equipment, set up and technique based on build specifications

Align components using Straightedge, Combination square, etc. and clamp pieces
-
Tact welds or welds components and assemblies, using electric, gas, arc, or other welding equipment

Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
Qualifications
-
Minimum 2 years of welding experience

Proficient in the use of Oxy/fuel cutting equipment, electric welding machines
-
Proficient in the use of GMAW, FCAW, SMAW welding processes and procedures
-
Experience using welding equipment and procedures

Experience using electrical or manual tools
-
Ability to practice safe work practices and properly use PPE
-
High attention to detail required, with the ability to look ahead in the work process

Patience and adaptability to multi-tasking
