Martushev Group is seeking a Territory Manager to join our dynamic team in the Northwest BC region (which will encompass all areas between Prince Rupert / Prince George and Norther regions). Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients in the Terrace BC region, including Indigenous communities;
· Identify and pursue joint venture opportunities with Indigenous businesses and organizations to foster economic growth and partnership development;
· Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute strategic plans for business growth, ensuring Indigenous inclusion and participation;
· Actively engage and consult with Indigenous stakeholders in project planning and decision-making processes;
· Promote cultural sensitivity, awareness, and respect within the organization and among project teams;
· Support initiatives that contribute to the economic and social development of Indigenous communities;
· Work closely with Indigenous partners to address any concerns or issues that may arise during project execution; and,
· Be the Operational lead and Project Management support for all work within the region.
Requirements:
· Proven experience in relationship building, business development, and Indigenous engagement;
· Strong background in civil construction and project management;
· Demonstrated success in developing partnerships and joint ventures, particularly with Indigenous communities;
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders;
· Knowledge and understanding of Indigenous cultures, traditions, and protocols;
· Familiarity with Indigenous consultation processes and regulatory requirements;
· Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets while promoting Indigenous inclusion; and,
· Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the region.
