We are looking for a Salesforce Administrator to join our fast-growing commercial team. Your responsibilities will be related to our end-to-end sales, customer success and customer support journey. This includes executing the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of the Salesforce platform. The Salesforce Administrator will play a key technical role in supporting DSF’s engagement objectives as well as the Digital team’s objective of accurately tracking, reporting, and acting on engagement data.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain the flow of data throughout the Salesforce lifecycle: from collection, storage, maintenance, usage, to cleansing and archiving
- Recommend new technology and process improvements as it relates to Salesforce
- Regularly monitor the quality of our Salesforce data and resolve issues like duplication, inaccuracies, incompleteness, and staleness
- Maintain the usability and security of our Salesforce instance
- Address platform updates, not only from Salesforce, but also from other systems integrated with the platform
- Work cross-functionally to onboard and offboard users and resolve technical issues and data requests as well as generating reports and dashboards as required
- Assist the Salesforce Systems Architect in designing a data and integration management strategy for the organization
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Computer Science diploma or equivalent education plus experience
- 1-3 years’ experience as a Certified Salesforce Administrator or equivalent experience with relvance skill set
- 2+ years' experience in SFDC database management
- Applied knowledge of business analysis and data analytics
- Demonstrated ability to take business requirements and formulate technical solutions within the Salesforce.com (SFDC) environment
- Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, custom reports, custom dashboards, and other content of intermediate complexity
- Experience drafting strong technical documentation, delivering training and providing technical support
- Intermediate experience with data manipulation, cleansing and deduplication methods
- Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel
- Demonstrated ability in identifying, troubleshooting and resolving bugs
- Excellent written and verbal communication and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working for a SaaS company is considered an asset
