Border City Aviation is seeking a highly motivated, hard-working, and experienced Flight Instructor our Lloydminster, AB flight operations.
Requirements:
Minimum Requirements:
- Must not have any aircraft accidents or Aviation violation convictions
- Authorized to live and work in Canada
- Speak fluent English
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively alone or within a collaborative team environment
- Ability to report to the Chief Flight Instructor/ Operations Manager
- Must have valid Canadian Licence/ Medical
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Must be Class 3 or higher
Job Functions:
- Verify that the aircraft is airworthy before flight and report any discrepancies to the Director of Maintenance
- Must be able to fly in all weather conditions and all altitudes
- Ability to maintain course standards, training requirements
- Ability to monitor and maintain student records
- Provide pre- and post-flight briefings
- Familiar with all required subjects and Transport Canada Flight test guides and CARs as they relate to Private and Commercial training
- Promote professional behavior and attitude
- Teach Ground School Classes
- Other duties will be assigned
