Shoppers Drug Mart Edson is looking for a registered pharmacy technician that is excited to be involved in an expanding community pharmacy with new roles and opportunities. ABOUT EDSON:
Edson is a small town of 10,000 people and is located just under 2 hours west of Edmonton, halfway to Jasper, AB. If you enjoy the outdoors Edson allows you a short commute to the mountains and Jasper National Park. The town of Edson has a young demographic that offer many community events and recreational programs.

SCHEDULE:
- 32-40 hours/week (8 hour shifts)
- Staff rotation for one weekend per month
- Hours: Monday - Friday 9am-9pm and Saturday - Sunday 10am-6pm
- Open to alternate scheduling such as week on/week off
What you'll do
- Patient greeting and confirmation of accuracy of all pertinent prescription information prior to filling
- Data entry of patient care information into HealthWatch
- Third Party adjudication where required and necessary
- Accurate dispensing prescription medications
- Maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems
- General OTC enquiries from patients and referral to Pharmacist where required and necessary
- Handling customer prescription pick up
- Assisting with cashier responsibilities as required in the Pharmacy
What you'll need
- Registered with the corresponding provincial licensing college, where applicable in the province seeking employment, in good standing
- Experience as a Pharmacy Technician or certification from an accredited Pharmacy Technician program
- Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation
- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrated customer service experience
- Strong motivation to succeed
- Proficient computer/data/entry skills

Salary: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
