The Opportunity:
We are looking for a live-in Building Resident Manager for one of our high-end rental properties in Downtown Halifax. The role is responsible for the physical maintenance and safety of the building, surrounding property, and its residents. The successful candidate will have a service-oriented approach, excellent communication skills, and work flexible hours including on-call requirements for residents.
Responsibilities:
· Always conduct yourself in a friendly and professional manner
· Ensure building and surrounding grounds are cleaned daily
· Respond to tenant inquiries and repair requests in a timely manner
· Carry out minor repairs: appliance repairs, routine plumbing repairs, painting, and basic electrical repairs
· Support the resident move ins and move outs
· Respond to emergencies that may occur in the building
Education / Skills:
· Ideally a minimum of two years of relevant work experience or an apprenticeship or combination thereof, however, we do provide in-house training so you can expand your skill set.
