Multitasking and memory are extremely important. The employee works closely with co-workers and guests. Employee deals with the public face to face, having to be able to give service to a multitude of people at a time. The employee is responsible for taking payments - cash handling and balancing end of shift, stock and cleaning the side stations, maintaining stations throughout the shift, clearing and resetting tables, approaching guests who are waiting to be seated. Direct guests to their table and present menus, Must be able to learn menus thoroughly, give menu ingredients, recommendations, and serve guests in a pleasant and professional manner. Applicants must have good customer service skills. Requires extended-standing/walking, significant use of memory, ability to use computer program point of sale and carrying up to 20lbs. Must be able to work well under pressure and time constraints. Bartending skills are an asset. Anything else assigned by the supervisor.
