Position Summary
We are looking for a Maintenance Team Leader that is responsible for enabling world class maintenance execution in Operations providing assets' maintenance according to the Nestlé Strategy (using TPM as the multi-disciplinary approach to maintain/improve fixed assets, and AMM to manage their life cycle).
Position holder will be responsible for ensuring competent maintenance management and execution, and to lead the implementation and execution of the factory asset maintenance programme aimed at eliminating unplanned stops and optimise maintenance cost with the goal of increasing asset intensity.
A day in the life of a Maintenance Team Leader
The successful applicant will support the continuing success and improvement of factory operation by day-to-day leadership and coaching of the Skilled Trades group in the use of NCE/TPM tools to achieve the department's objectives and accomplish factory Operational Master Plan (OMP) projects, while ensuring that all work is conducted safely with the observance of personal and food safety regulations.
Planned maintenance:
Establish and control maintenance routines to ensure that maintenance activities are scheduled and executed on time, on budget and with high quality.
Lead and/or facilitate implementation of maintenance methodologies (PM pillar routines) as a member of the PM pillar
Coach and promote problem solving and breakdown analysis.
Ensures availability of maintenance resources to implement and execute maintenance routines and methodologies.
Budget Management:
Support efficient execution in building the maintenance budget (zero base), supported with the foreseen planned maintenance in each asset and in line with Guidelines. Report and track maintenance budget according to guidelines. Analyse over/under spending and put in place corrective actions
Production support:
Support the implementation AM pillar methodologies.
Coordinate production support to eliminate quality defects, safety risks and technical failures
Responsible link between Production and Maintenance by being an active member of Local committee.
Define and adhere to standards:
Lead implementation of applicable standards.
Responsible to ensure adherence to applicable standards.
