Layzee Acres Park is nestled on the beautiful shores of Lake Dalrymple offering the perfect family getaway. We are looking for a couple to to carry out the operation of the campground for the 2023 camping season, May 1 to October 31, 2023
Successful candidates will be provided with campsite and trailer in the park. In exchange they will be expected to carry out the following tasks.
- Operation and maintenance of public pool from end of June until Labour Day
- Daily water tests and recording of waste treatment metrics.
- Park presence and security, including the enforcement of quiet policy of weekend nights. 11 PM rounds followed by 11:30PM rounds at our sister campground Split Rail
- Position requires an individual with problem solving and people skills.
- Individuals will be our campground hosts and on the ground point of contact for park customers staying in the park.
** candidates will be responsible to cover their hydro expenses
Successful candidates would also be responsible for the positions: campground store administration and/or general grounds keeper, payed at an additional hourly rate
Administration:
- Saturday 9-5 and Sunday 10-1
- Office filing, campground administration, answering phones
General Park Labour:
Approximately 30 hours/ week over 4 days. Hours above are approximate and workload / weather dependent
- Emptying garbage receptacles, cutting grass, park maintenance, miscellaneous repairs, trailer setup assistance
We are a family run business and operate an RV dealership in close proximity of the park. We are looking for a candidate to perform day-to-day park operations but will be available for guidance.
