Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders through online meetings to thoroughly understand their business objectives, technology requirements, gaps, and challenges.
- Conduct in-depth analyses of existing business processes, identify areas for improvement, and propose innovative technology-driven solutions.
- Gather and document detailed project requirements, including functional specifications, user stories, and process flow.
- Actively participate in meetings with customers and technology vendors, fostering clear communication and maintaining project alignment.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends, providing insights and recommendations for their implementation roadmap.
- Assist in the selection of suitable technology solutions that align with client needs and project goals.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive project updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and understanding throughout the project lifecycle.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and share knowledge to enhance the overall effectiveness of the Business Analysis team.
Requirements:
- Location Requirement: The ideal candidate must be based within Canada
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Analysis, Information Technology, Computer Science, MBA or a related field.
- Proven track record as an Information System Business Analyst, preferably in the software solutions or IT services industry.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to translate complex information into actionable insights.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal, to facilitate effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in documenting business and technical requirements using industry-standard methodologies and tools.
- Experience in facilitating meetings, workshops, and presentations with clients and technology vendors.
- Strong project and time management skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving, working effectively within a team environment.
- Enthusiasm for staying abreast of the latest technological advancements and industry best practices.
