Product & Onboarding Manager - Reconciliation Services
The Reconciliation Services Product & Onboarding manager is responsible for establishing schedules and coordinating with business stakeholders on collecting requirements and prioritization, and liaising with members of the IT team to ensure the smooth implementation of the prioritized items. The manager will support the end-to-end onboarding of reconciliations for the centralized Reconciliations Services group. This role will work with the Business Analyst, Reconciliations Services to manage the implementation of projects.
The key responsibilities include ensuring initiatives are tracking to plan, and there is an optimal utilization of shared project resources. Additionally, other accountabilities will include stakeholder management such as facilitating prioritization sessions and ensuring a high degree of collaboration and alignment on objectives and expectations. The role will also be responsible for a Universal Reconciliation Inventory and associated cost allocation models as projected against usage and demands.
What will you do?
Develop, monitor and execute project plans and coordinate timely execution of major milestones, approvals, sign-offs and implementation. Coordinate release of deliverables to users
Facilitate the planning and implementation of projects, define project tasks and resource requirements, and track the status of deliverables and any decisions made regarding scope changes and outstanding issues
Communicate effectively with developers, database administrators, network analysts, systems analysts, senior management, project sponsors and business users
Schedule and lead project-related meetings and calls with internal delivery teams, vendors, and stakeholders
Provide analysis to monitor work stream milestone reports so that any impacts to schedule can be escalated as needed
Liaise with cross-functional teams to coordinate tasks in support of short and long term initiatives and goals of the team
Monitor and track action items and decisions for work streams/projects
Preparation of regular status reports and presentations, requirements assessments, issue tracking/resolution and documentation
Regularly report progress of project status, milestones, achievements to stakeholders
Manage multiple scrum boards and Kanban boards in Jira to accurately reflect project and product progress
Maintain a universal reconciliation inventory portal to ensure information and SOP for each reconciliation is accurate and up-to-date
What do you need to succeed?
Strong presentation and communication skills.
A minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in project focused roles
Bachelor’s Degree or relevant capital markets experience
Ability to quickly and successfully navigate through a matrix organization
Ability to host conference meetings with a large group of audience, including Managing Directors and Global Heads
Willingness and ability to propose changes and implement solutions
General knowledge of Technology Operations, and SDLC
PMP, CSM, CSPO or Agile Certification
Work experience on JIRA and Confluence or any similar project management tools
Knowledge of Capital Markets Products
Knowledge of Reconciliations in Capital Markets
