IRATA Level 1 and Level 2 Rope Access TechniciansThe Rope Access Technician is responsible for carrying out standard rope access operations under the direct supervision of an authorized Level 3 rope access supervisor. The technician will use Industrial Rope Access methods and related equipment to access and complete a wide variety of inspection, maintenance and other industrial work tasks while on ropes or in difficult access areas. Technicians must have the ability to perform work that is physically demanding, have good communication skills and the ability to assimilate a large amount of new information. Responsibilities may also include rescue operations, technical reports and administrative tasks. Work hours, locations, shifts and nature of work assignments vary greatly and travel may be required.
Candidates must be local to Atlantic Canada Region.

Requirements
- Valid/Current IRATA Level 1 or 2 Certification mandatory.
- Valid First Aid & Confined Space Certification is an asset.
- Eligible for employment in Canada.
- Valid driver’s license that is compliant with Company policy.
- Solid technical skills as a rope access technician.
- Strong organizational and time management.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Computer literacy with ability to use basic Microsoft Office programs including; Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience and/or aptitude for working in a range of industrial environments.
- Proven experience in listed Competencies.
- Ability to travel as required.
- Experience using NDT techniques, procedures and equipment in the Oil and Gas Industry is an asset.

Work Conditions
- 75-80% travel time.
