About the position
The drive-through quick lube oil change at Murray GM is a quick no-appointment-needed way for our customers to complete the scheduled maintenance for their vehicle and continue along their journey.
As the quick lube service advisor, you will be responsible to the customers and to the crew of quick lube attendants on staff. On the customer side you will greet customers as they drive in, build an invoice, and guide them through the quick lube process. This process consists of explaining what preferred oil and filter options we have, and suggesting other maintenance options such as wipers, air filters, and fluid changes. If mechanical repairs are required, the quick lube service advisor will schedule a future appointment for the customer to bring their vehicle for repairs.
On the supervision side, the quick lube service advisor is responsible for a crew of quick lube attendants. This includes scheduling, assigning work, and making sure they accomplish the tasks of the lube bay, including shop cleanup and lot maintenance.

This Position is for a Tuesday-Saturday Shift
This position requires a valid drivers license and a clean drivers abstract.

Quick Lube Service Advisor responsibilities and duties
- Greeting customers and providing excellent customer service
- Creating the repair order and documenting work performed on each vehicle
- Performing vehicle maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive Customer loyalty.
- Recommending maintenance and service to customers in accordance with dealership and factory standards to help provide our customers with a safe and reliable vehicle.
- Communicating with Parts Department regularly to effectively manage production and customer communication
- Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins and participating in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate
- Supervising a group of quick lube attendants
- Scheduling quick lube attendants
- Assuring and maintaining high quality service standards
- Knowledge of vehicles would be an asset but not required
- This position requires a valid Drivers Licence
