Summary of Position:
This individual performs a variety of duties such as assembly, testing, operating machines/equipment, deburring, cleaning of finished items, packaging, inventory and maintaining records. All work is performed in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Main responsibilities:

Deburrs, cleans and washes parts using a variety of simple equipment and hand tools.

Sets-up and operates a variety of machines and equipment in accordance with established procedures.

Assembles and/or kits components in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Perform routine inspection and maintenance of machines. Inspects related equipment to ensure it meets safety standards and completes related records.

Inspects the quality of parts and/or products by measuring and testing items. Analyze rejects to determine cause of failure.

Moves materials throughout facilities using manual or powered material handling.

Fills stock orders according to identified needs, select specified components from inventory and delivers to area.

Packs product in boxes, cartons or other containers using appropriate packing material for shipping purposes.

Performs other related duties.

Knowledge of the manufacturing industry would be an asset.

Physical ability to perform the duties of the position; includes lifting, bending and twisting for up to 8 hours.

Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.

Ability to work on all shifts (Morning Shift, Afternoon Shift and Graveyard Shift).

Demonstrated ability to operate computer equipment.

Must clear criminal background check.

Must be willing to undergo security background review.
