We are looking for the right candidate to fill the position of Shipper/Receiver to join our team at our Clairmont, Alberta.

Key Responsibilities
- See that air shipments are received right away and given to the people who ordered them
- Pick orders and prepare for shipment
- Create shipping documents
- Be familiar with carriers -- service areas, reliability, and prices
- Sort and distribute incoming shipments
- Receive all incoming goods
- Put stock away
- Keep the stock room and engine room neat/tidy
- Schedule daily transportation needs with different carriers/couriers
- Monitor shipping manifests for late/lost shipments and claims
- Receive new shipments, match against the packing list and purchase order
- Inventory reconciliation
- Be available for a once a year inventory
- Put all incoming inventory in their proper bin location
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the warehouse
- Modify and/or repackage incoming stock when required
- Monitor and requisition warehouse supplies
- Work their assigned Saturdays
- Adhere to Fleet Brake’s published policies and procedures at all times
- Any other duties assigned by the supervisor not far outside my expertise and training.
Qualifications and Skills
- Thorough knowledge of warehousing/distribution procedures;
- Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail;
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize projects within established deadlines;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Knowledge of safe work practices as they relate to Warehouse operations and equipment;
- Good knowledge of Warehouse equipment, forklift and hand jack, etc.;
- Good knowledge of computerized shipping/receiving and inventory control systems
- Good knowledge of courier network
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and Word
- Self-motivated with the ability to work with little supervision
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Holder of appropriate and valid driver’s license
- Good Driving record and ability to maintain it
- Good working relations with customers by providing courteous, efficient, and professional service
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and repeatedly bend or stoop to floor-level shelves and be able to reach upper shelves with the use of a stool or ladder when necessary
- Certified Forklift Operator
- High School diploma
- Minimum 2 years experience in shipping/receiving, warehousing, and inventory control
