We are looking for two individuals to become part of our team. If you have an outgoing, positive personality that makes students want to come back every day, a can-do attitude, and will ensure that the student not only enjoys their BFC experience, but will recommend it to others, then we need to talk!
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Instruct students in procedures and techniques of flying
- Instruct ground school subjects such as navigation, radio procedures and flying regulations
- Train licensed pilots for additional certification
- Set goals and document student progress
- Plan, dispatch and supervise flights in accordant with Transport Canada regulations
- Maintain accurate student records
- Participate in future program development and community outreach as required
- Management and advancement opportunities exist for suitable candidates
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must possess a minimum of a Class 3 Transport Canada Instructor Rating
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English language
- ICAO ALPD level 6 mandatory.
- Strong knowledge and understand of aviation rules and regulations
- Proficient in various teaching methods
- Self-motivated, able to work without supervision
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Able to adapt to change
- Demonstrate sound judgement and decision making
- Must be client focused with a safe flying record
Candidate Requirements:
Must be eligible to work in Canada.
Must hold a valid Class 3 or 4 Flight Instructor rating.
English proficiency (ICAO 6).
Must be willing to relocate to Brandon, MB or reliably commute.
Compensation
Salary: starting salary for a Class 4 instructor is $41,000.00 annually, plus a generous bonus structure based on total billed flight instructor hours monthly.

Brandon Flight Centre offers a two-year college training program with Assiniboine Community College and a self-paced option for both domestic and international students. Motivated Instructors can expect a full student calendar year-round.
