Alpha Adroit is looking to hire two NDT Testing Technicians to join our team and work under the direct supervision of Alpha Adroit's Senior Engineers. The successful candidates will be responsible for performing NDT tests for concrete, wood, metals, resins, and plastics and following specifications as required by Alpha Adroit. The ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of NDT principles and be able to work under difficult job conditions, including during Pandemics and other natural disasters. The candidates should have the ability to perform heavy physical effort, including work under variable or harsh environmental conditions, standing for extended periods, lifting weights of up to 50 pounds (lbs.), working long shift hours of up to 12 hours per day, and conduct repeated physical activities and moving sensitive equipment and tools with extreme diligence and care.

Responsibilities:

QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma is a MUST. An Engineering Degree is considered an asset.
- TDG Certification (Certification in Transportation of Dangerous Goods), including TDG Class 7 for Radiation Safety for Portable Nuclear Gauges, is a MUST.
- CSTS 2020 Certification (Construction Safety Training System) is a MUST
- CGSB Certification for MP Level II, LP Level II, UT Level II, and Radiation Officer is considered an asset but is not a mandatory requirement
- CCIL Certification for concrete and aggregate testing is considered valuable but is not a mandatory requirement
- Ability to perform heavy physical effort, including work under variable or harsh environmental conditions, standing for extended periods, and lifting weights of up to 50 pounds (lbs.)
- Minimum one (1) year of field and laboratory experience in related NDT inspection and testing is required, similar to Alpha Adroit's NDT testing services (more information at https://alphaadroit.ca/services/ndt-non-destructive-testing-services.html )
- Adherence to Alpha Adroit's Radiation Safety Manual, OHSE (Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Protection), Social Responsibility, and Data and Cyber Security Policies, as well as QMS (Quality Management System), is a MUST
- Strong communication skill (verbal and non-verbal) is considered an asset
- Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Valid Alberta Class 5 driver's license or being able to obtain one within one month is a MUST
