Ermine Power Station is a natural gas-fired station owned by SaskPower, under construction about 10 km southeast of Kerrobert, Saskatchewan (located 180 kilometers West of Saskatoon) and operated as a peaking plant.
The scope of work includes the expansion of an existing power plant, by constructing an additional simple-cycle gas turbine (SCGT) facility. The new SCGT facility will generate an additional 46 MW of power, which will power an additional 46,000 homes. The civil works portion includes the underground piping earthworks, piling earthworks, excavation and reinforced concrete foundation works, and site grading/drainage improvements.
Jardeg is currently recruiting for Finish Operators - skid steer, loader, dozer, excavator and Zoom Boom (telehandler) at the Ermine Sask Power Station project on a 10/4 rotation.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Snow removal

Finishing
-
Unloading supplies/materials

Able to work in tight areas

Excavate for new underground utilities

Able to do slopes
-
Final grade finishing
-
Able to work near live pipe and electrical.

Requirements:

Must have valid certificates for operation of Skid Steer

Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience operating equipment in an industrial workplace

Must have experience with final grade finishing

CSTS 2020 or SCOT
