Whiting Equipment Canada is seeking a motivated individual to join our company as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk.
As part of our team, you oversee and document the receiving of packages, parcels and supplies, store items in appropriate areas, and prepare items for shipping. This is a position that requires a highly organized personality. You must pay close attention to small details while managing the logistics of a high volume of items entering and leaving the facility. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unaided and able to bend and crouch to lift items properly. You also will be required to work in the fabrication shop during slow periods also in the shipping department.
In the fabrication shop you will be required to perform labour activates such as using hand tools and perform activities like but not limited to using hand grinders, mag drills, painting and shop clean up.
Shipping and Receiving Requirements and Qualification
. Prior Warehouse Experience
. High School Diploma.
. Forklift Experience and Certification
. Exceptional organization skills
