Reporting to the Manager of Health Information Services the General Office Clerk is responsible for the communication system and the reception/registration duties within the Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital.
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
Grade 12 or equivalent, plus completion of a recognized office procedure/secretarial program, or 1-year previous clerical/administration experience is required
Graduate of an approved Medical Terminology Program is required
Demonstrated skills and experience with Windows and Microsoft applications including Word, Outlook and Explorer, as well as Meditech computer training and experience is required
Related hospital exposure in an applicable setting preferred
Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills; must be an effective team player
Ability to work rotational shifts required
Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Temporary Long Assignment, Part-time Position; 50%, 35 hours biweekly
Approximate term of 12 months (Dates are subject to change)
Shift work required, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
$20.09 - $21.90 Hourly
