Do you have a passion for skiing or snowboarding? Ski 2 Sky Sports is hiring multiple part-time staff members for the upcoming fall and winter season! We are a family owned and operated retail store that is entering its fourth year of operation in Lower Lonsdale. Our goal is to provide high quality ski and snowboard equipment at discounted prices. Your primary role as a team member is to generate sales by providing customers with information on skis, snowboards and all the necessary accessories to hit the slopes. We have shifts available during the week and on weekends with flexible hours to fit around your busy schedule.
The ideal candidate will have several years experience either skiing or snowboarding and knowledge on the products involved in both sports. Previous experience in a retail setting or a customer service role is preferred. We are looking for someone who is a quick learner, punctual and possesses an ability to handle all customer interactions. When you are not helping customers, your job will require lots of organizing, tagging and tidying equipment.
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver an enthusiastic and professional level of customer service
- Generate sales by providing customers with information on products available
- Perform checkout as cashier
- Clean, wax and adjust bindings for skis, snowboards and related equipment
- Create content for our social media pages and website
Wages start at $20 per hour. We are looking for candidates who can start work in October.
