JOB SUMMARY: To assist the Pastry Chef in all baking aspects of the pastry department and prepare baked good for a la Carte menu service, buffets, banquets and all resort functions and events.
ACOUNTABILITIES: Responsible for from scratch preparing and baking of all bread products, muffins, croissants, puff pastries, pie dough, and pastry dough and sweet breads.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
§ College/CEGEP/Vocational or technical training
§ Culinary Degree/Pastry/Baking Degree preferred or equivalent
§ 3-5 years comparable experience in bakery goods required
§ Experience or training in a fine dining kitchen preferred
§ Safe Food Handling Certificate
