LEON’S IS LOOKING FOR A QA TESTER

To do this, LFL Digital is looking for a QA Tester.
KEY OBJECTIVE:
The QA Tester will be working closely with the Project Managers, Product Owners and Development teams to formulate and implement test cases on our various eCommerce sites on the Shopify platform.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Review project requirements and design documents to create test cases with detailed steps

Lead the testing process on IT solutions across banners

Own the test strategies, plans, and implementation of best practices

Drive the testing capabilities and implementation of automate testing frameworks, maintain automated testing across multiple banners and document results

Responsible for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process and rollout testing into production

Own the test environments and data. Perform test data refreshes, troubleshoot, triage issues and coordinate resolution
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE

Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize multiple projects to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Experience with Atlassian software development and management tools

Experience on large and complex technology eCommerce projects with a focus in the retail industry

Familiar with web performance tools, development tools and Google Page Speed Insight
-
Strong ability to navigate ambiguity, overcome confusion and simplify complex situations
-
Ability to communicate, produce documentation, prepare and lead sessions
-
Willing to work outside of regular office hours as if required
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED

Excellent understanding of the retail industry, web, mobile and eCommerce technologies

Experience working in an Agile environment

Previous experience with collaboration tools and methods

Ability to present complex information clearly and concisely

Excellent decision-making skills and ability to influence change for improved performance

Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

1 or more years of experience in a similar or related position

Working knowledge of the Shopify platform is a nice to have
NON-TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Requires in office presence at Leon’s Home Office in Toronto, Ontario

Must be a self-motivated individual who takes pride in delivering high quality work
