Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Provide safety training to employees on topics such as hazard recognition, emergency response, and personal protective equipment
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and develop strategies for prevention
- Maintain safety records and documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with management and employees to promote a culture of safety awareness and accountability
Experience:
- Previous experience in a safety role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively train and educate employees on safety practices
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop strategies for improvement
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities
