Nuco Restorations Inc. is presently looking to hire emergency remediation technicians/laborer's for our remediation division. You will be completing demolition, cleaning, emergency flood services, restorative drying, as well as fire and smoke damage restoration.
Responsibilities and Duties:
-Respond to clients homes that have just had a fire, flood, or other natural disaster.
-Conduct demolition which could include: Removing effected drywall, insulation, flooring, etc. and disposing of it appropriately.
-Hauling debris from job site to landfill, as well as moving clients personal items to storage facility with great care.
-Moving and placing drying equipment and machinery to and from site as well as on site. Some equipment can weigh up to 50-80 lbs.
-Must participate in a 24 hour on call rotation
-Evening and weekend hours are necessary from time to time
-Take direction from the Project Manager, Operations Manager, and Team Leads
-Work with a "clean as you go" mentality and need to have problem solving skills.
-Deliver outstanding customer service experiences.
Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications:
Tickets preferred but not limited to: WHIMIS, First Aid, Alberta Asbestos Worker Certificate, Water Damage Restoration Certificate, and Fall Arrest.
-Strong communication in English, both verbally and written
-Experience in general construction is an asset.
-Be able to participate in the on call rotation (this may include after hours call outs on evenings and weekends). Generally 9 hours work days (8 am- 5 pm) with exceptions of on call services.
-Must have a Valid Class 5 Drivers License and provide drivers abstract.
-Must have a strong work ethic with the willingness to learn and grow with the company.
