We are currently looking for a Structural Engineer to join our team at our Edmonton, AB office.
As a Structural Engineer your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
· Design calculations for steel structures, pipe supports and other miscellaneous items,
· Foundation design for driven steel/helical piles and concrete foundations,
· Minor wood design review and calculations,
· Structural design and drafting primarily using Solidworks; some AutoCad,
· Finite element analysis and other stress analysis,
· Equipment NDT certification preparation and review,
· Structural report preparation,
· Engineering design packages,
· Complete site visits to perform inspections and consultations with clients,
· Work with the structural engineering team,
· A strong commitment to working safely and protecting the safety of others.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil (Structural) Engineering
- Registered as an EIT or P.Eng. with APEGA
- Any relevant project engineering experience is an asset
- Operations field experience
- Be highly analytical and the ability to establish strong internal and external relationships
- Be energetic, resilient, collaborative, goal oriented and a self starter
- Any relevant experience in the upstream or midstream oil and gas industry, structural design
- Experience leading client meetings

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
