We are looking for a talented and experienced Service Advisor who is customer-oriented, has a high attention to detail, is able to multitask, and handle a busy environment…while having fun of course!
The Service Advisor’s primary responsibilities include:
Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, addressing their needs, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the service process.
Service Consultation: Engage in thorough consultations with customers to understand their vehicle’s issues, concerns, and maintenance requirements.
Vehicle Assessment: Communicate to the customer the comprehensive inspections of vehicles to identify problems, diagnose issues, and recommend appropriate services or repairs.
Service Recommendations: Provide accurate and detailed explanations of recommended services or repairs, including estimated costs, timelines, and potential benefits.
Work Order Management: Create and manage work orders, ensuring all necessary information, parts, and resources are available to complete the requested services.
Parts Ordering: Collaborate to order required parts, ensuring timely delivery and availability for scheduled services or repairs.
Service Scheduling: Coordinate appointments based on the availability of technicians, ensuring efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
Service Updates: Keep customers informed about the progress of their vehicle’s service or repairs, providing updates on timelines, unexpected issues, and additional requirements.
Customer Education: Explain technical information to customers in a clear and understandable manner, ensuring they are aware of maintenance recommendations and potential future concerns.
Upselling and Add-on Sales: Identify opportunities to recommend additional services, maintenance packages, or accessories based on customer needs and vehicle requirements.
Concern Resolution: Address customer concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner, striving to find satisfactory resolutions and maintain positive customer relationships.
Documentation and Records: Accurately record all service activities, including customer information, vehicle details, service history, and any repairs or maintenance performed.

We are looking for someone with the following qualifications:
· Strong understanding of automotive systems, components, and maintenance requirements to effectively communicate with customers and technicians.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to provide exceptional customer service, actively listen to customer concerns, and build rapport.
· Basic technical knowledge to comprehend vehicle issues, understand service recommendations, and effectively communicate with technicians.
· Strong problem-solving skills to identify and diagnose vehicle issues accurately, assess potential solutions, and provide appropriate recommendations.
· Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple appointments, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced automotive service environment.
· Proficiency in sales techniques to effectively upsell services, maintenance packages, and accessories while considering customer needs and preferences.
· Comfortable using computer software and systems for scheduling, inventory management, and generating reports.
· Effective time management skills to ensure efficient workflow, meet deadlines, and minimize customer wait times.
· Ability to handle challenging situations, irate customers, and unexpected service delays with composure and professionalism.
· Adherence to ethical business practices, including honesty, transparency, and confidentiality when handling customer information and financial transactions.
· The desire to make a real impact by ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our valued customers.
· Previous experience in the automotive industry, such as service advising, mechanical work, or dealership operations, is often preferred.
· A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required, although additional certifications or automotive-related education can be advantageous.
