Receptionist, 1 or 2 part-time position(s), needed for a Coquitlam multi practitioner chiropractic/massage office. The office is open Monday to Thursday and every second Saturday (but never on a long weekend!). The position is for approximately 26 hours per week (31 hours on a Saturday week) for 1 person or divided between 2 people. Office and computer experience is necessary along with multi line phone skills. The office uses the appointment software called Jane app so experience with that is definitely good. Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to appropriate individuals
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Check patients in and out, collect payments, and verify insurance information
- Maintain patient records and update necessary information
- Assist with order entry and inventory management
- Coordinate projects and tasks as assigned
- Provide general clerical support to the office staff
Skills:
- Proficiency in using Janeapp and other office software
- Previous experience working in a medical or dental office setting is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
