THE ROLE
The eCommerce Specialist administer the publishing process for a group of product content, proofreading, editing and optimizing to adhere to CANEX product content standards. They source, edit and upload product images and videos and create product attributes to enhance the product online. They develop content published online using SEO best practices including products, category pages, landing pages and static pages. They evaluate site experience and analyze key performance indicators of customer’s online behavior to ensure best in class experience.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
Education, Certifications and Licenses
College diploma or certificate in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science or a related field AND several years of experience in Web content or a related field

In maintaining web sites
In retail merchandising best practices
In web content development and administration
In e-commerce platforms
In using social media platforms
In image editing software
In web Intranet/Internet design and development
In applying policies, procedures, and regulations

OTHER INFORMATION
The hiring manager is away on leave until June 19th after which they will review the candidates and set up interviews with any qualified applicants.
This position has an assigned location and may allow flexible work options such as remote or hybrid work but the employee must be able to report to the assigned work location at their own cost if required. Remote work may be required depending on health and safety considerations.
