Responsibilities:
- Perform calibration of aerospace equipment and tools to ensure accuracy and precision.
- Conduct hands-on experiments and tests, following established protocols and procedures.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data from calibrations and tests.
- Assist in the assembly and testing of aerospace components and systems.
- Perform maintenance and calibration of engineering equipment and tools.
- Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports and documentation.
- Follow safety protocols and promote a safe work environment.
- Maintain accurate records of calibration activities, manufacturing procedures, and test results.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Engineering Technology, Computer Programming or a related field (recent graduates are welcome to apply).
- Basic understanding of calibration techniques, manufacturing processes, and quality control.
- Willingness to learn and develop skills in calibration and manufacturing within the aerospace industry.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing production requirements and priorities.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols in the aerospace industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with the design and testing of aerospace systems and components.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, and quality control.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and certifications related to aerospace industry such as AS9100, MIL STD 810 and DO 160.
- Knowledge or experience in programming languages such as C#, C, or Python.
- Experience working with printed circuit boards and soldering is considered an asset.
