Super T Aviation is looking for a Flight Instructor with or without a Multi-IFR for a position as a Flight Instructor. We are a family owned company operating a fixed wing flight instruction school as well as charter services throughout Western Canada.
Minimum Requirements:
- Previous experience as a trainer or teacher is an advantage
- No aircraft accident or aviation violation convictions
- Authorized to live and work in Canada
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Reports activity to Chief Instructor/Chief Pilot
- Post-Secondary education an asset
Essential Job Functions:
- Delivering high quality flight, simulator and ground instruction to students
- Responsible for accurately maintaining student training records and student logbooks
- Responsible for maintaining course standards, training requirements, and ensuring objectives
are met
- Promotes professional behavior and attitude; teaching by example is a very important
responsibility for the Flight Instructor
- Verifies that the aircraft is airworthy before operating and reports discrepancies to the
responsible people
- Promotes safe behavior at all times
- Identifies and initiates improvements for practical instruction and training
- Attends administrative, standardization, instructor development meetings
- Other duties may be assigned
