Pro Shop/Clubhouse Closing Key Holders

Port Hope Golf & Country Club
The Port Hope Golf & Country Club winds through the grounds of the historic Penryn Park on the bluffs of Lake Ontario, offering a challenging 18 hole course. Attendants are responsible for providing courteous and professional service to all members, Pro Shop guests, and Golf & Country Club guests. Must be available to work shifts including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Greeting and responding to the enquiries of guests, golfers, sales people, members, etc.
- Processing golfers onto the course, payments, providing instructions to new visitors
- Courteously answers telephone calls and handles enquiries personally or directs them to the appropriate department or person and maintains vigilance with respect to member and guest concerns
- Ensures that all customers have their order taken in a prompt and courteous manner
- Issue green fees, power cart rentals, pull cart rentals, club rentals , parking/washing golf carts
- Booking tee times for members and guests
- Closing of Pro Shop, including daily cash balancing and creating deposits
Qualifications
- Must hold valid Smart Serve certification
- Customer service experience an asset
- Ability to perform physical job functions during all weather conditions
- Possess strong communication skills and ability to work in team environment
