As a Software Test Designer, you are responsible for the verification and validation of Dana TM4 software systems. As an active member of the Verification and Validation (V&V) team, you work closely with the product development teams. You will participate in the validation and implementation of features in our electric propulsion systems for future vehicles.
Your challenges
Analyze, develop and execute test scripts and test cases according to the ASPICE / ISO 26262 methodology and standards- Participate in various development phases and formal tests in the software development life cycle
- Know the software testing methodologies (unit testing, integration testing, white box testing, black box testing)
- Write reports and documentation on software testing for defects that occur
- Perform all software integration testing, qualification testing and non-regression testing
- Participate in the review of work provided by team members
- Conduct technology watch to keep abreast of new tools and testing strategies
- Ensure that test cases are created and reviewed for defined requirements
- Provide support to cross-functional teams in development and system engineering
- Analyze reported problems
- Review and record any configuration changes to the test environment
- Coordinate and notify any schedule changes with all parties involved
- Manage test resources
- Compile models in Dspace (HIL) and develop test cases
