Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and assemble wooden structures, including frameworks, walls, floors, and roofs, using hand and power tools
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials
- Install structures and fixtures, such as windows and molding
- Follow blueprints and building plans to meet client specifications
- Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures
- Collaborate with other carpenters and construction team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to high quality standards
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Red Seal carpenter
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and building codes
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift materials and work in various weather conditions
- Red Seal Carpenter Certificate
-AWP & scaffolding experience considered an asset
- Class 05 License with clean drivers abstract
- WHMIS GHS certificate.
Job Types: Seasonal, Full-time
Salary: $22.00-$27.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
