Well maintained 17 floor building in west end near Bayshore. Must have basic knowledge of appliance repairs, plumbing repairs, electrical repairs, and carpentry skills. Looking for someone with at least 2 years experience. Must have knowledge of building codes and fire code. Knowledge of HVAC and mechanical systems important.
Great communication and listening skills important. Must be a self starter and great problem solver.
Duties include:
- perform service requests in tenant occupied units
- Preventative maintenance inspections of building infrastructure
- Work directly with property manager, along side other superintendent and cleaner and contractors to ensure quality of work and tenant satisfaction
- Complete turnover inspections and complete repairs and maintenance of vacant units( all our units are left vacant for 1 month to perform turn, there can be anywhere from 2-6 turns per month)
- Be available for on call rotation ( 1 week on 1 week off)
- Maintenance of the grounds: Shovelling and salting walkway in winter, cleaning up leaves in fall, looking after outdoor pool in summer
- Other duties as required
