Locating Services Assistant
Shermco is looking for Locating Services Assistants in Weyburn area.
Responsibilities:
- Be responsible to assist and job shadow the Underground Facilities Locators
- Be trained and mentored in all aspects of performing underground facilities locating for SaskTel, SaskEnergy, and SaskPower utilities for customers across SK.
- Ensure a high level of customer service, quality and safety are upheld
- Will be working in both urban and rural areas across the province
Qualifications:
- Be a recent high school or post-secondary graduate seeking work experience as a Skilled Labourer. Candidates who are currently in the workforce already may also apply.
- Be a self-starter and demonstrate initiative and a willingness to learn new tasks and responsibilities.
- Hold a valid Driver’s license and clean Driver’s Abstract as travel is a requirement of this position.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Demonstrate strong computer and technical skills
- Demonstrate a positive customer service attitude towards MEC clients, stakeholders, and employees.
