AMGAS has an immediate need for a Production Chemical Account Manager (area sales representative) in Lloydminster. The Production Chemical Account Manager will work closely with prospective clients to understand and meet their business requirements The successful candidate will be responsible for selling products, services, and solutions within a geographic area.
Responsibilities:
- Building outstanding strategic customer relationships by responding to customer feedback and managing client relations by understanding and meeting their requirements
- Collaboration with the sales and engineering teams to identify, develop and deliver opportunities
- Managing assigned accounts and ensuring targets are met
- Develop quotes and proposals for clients and providing exceptional customer service to clients throughout the sales process
- Travel to field sites as needed
- Adopt and adhere to AMGAS Services Inc. safety program
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Post-Secondary Education preferred; however extensive industry experience would be considered
- 3+ years in production chemical sales
- Proven track record of success in sales and account management within the oil and gas field
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to collaborate with technically minded customers
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment
- Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean record
- Current field tickets are required (H2S Alive and Standard First Aid)
AMGAS offers a competitive salary with a commission component based on sales targets. Annual earning potential with salary and quarterly paid commissions ranges from $150,000 to $600,000. The position is required to take client calls regarding problems or required services (inside sales) and to be readily available.
