This job opening is for someone to take ownership of administrative tasks involved in managing and operating a couple of companies. You will be working directly with the owner. In a nutshell, these companies are expanding rapidly and the owner needs administrative help to keep his personal life organized so that he can continue to focus on the expansion. You will be involved in both business operations and personal. This is a part-time role to begin and can turn into full-time for the right individual.
We take our work seriously and have high expectations but we also like to have fun and keep a relaxed environment.
Your work will consist of:
· Managing the owner's calendar and agenda
a. You are expected to call clients and interact with business partners to schedule meetings
b. You will need to coordinate between multiple people’s calendars to find the best time for meetings. This will be like a puzzle trying to schedule a time form meetings with busy business partners and clients
c. You will schedule restaurant reservations for dinners and events with clients and business partners
d. You will make travel arrangements when necessary
· Managing investment properties
a. You will manage two investment properties in Vancouver and another couple abroad (remotely)
b. This includes familiarizing yourself with the properties, communicating with guests, scheduling cleaners, replying to inquiries and other requests
· Various accounting tasks
a. You will conduct simple accounting tasks like processing of payroll in Quickbooks and other accounting software
· Various administrative tasks
a. You will assist with tasks in Excel including data entry and reporting
b. Drafting letters and communications in Word
c. Assisting with completion of paperwork required in the ordinary course of business
d. Conducting internet research when necessary
· Various personal tasks
a. You may be expected to assist with personal tasks, during periods of high workload, like ordering groceries, scheduling home cleaning and other miscellaneous tasks

· High integrity- You are honest and always seek to do the right thing even if it is difficult
· No need for supervision- You can work independently and do not need to be micro managed
· Availability Monday to Friday 8:30am to 12:30pm PST and available to work additional days if needed during busy work periods
