GENERAL:
Sodium Solutions Inc. is a fully integrated chemical supplier and packager, based in Western Canada. Sodium Solutions services a variety of industries, including oil and gas, industrial, agriculture, and forestry sectors. Sodium is engaged in proprietary toll blending, custom packaging and commodity packaging of dry products and adapts to the changing environment and needs of their clients. Sodium Solutions warehouses and stocks inventory throughout Alberta, Saskatchewan and British Columbia.
SUMMARY:
The General Warehouse Worker along with the Warehouse Manager is accountable for identifying inventory requirements, receiving, processing, storage and delivery of products stocked by Sodium Solutions, Inc. The General Warehouse Worker loads and unloads shipments of product in an accurate, safe, and timely manner on any truck leaving for rig sites and other customer locations.
SPECIFIC DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
1. Blending and Packaging of powder product (this includes but is not limited to the lifting, carrying, emptying of bagged material into hopper and operating the equipment necessary to facilitate the blending and bagging operation as well as lift bagged material and stack it on pallets)
2. Ensuring the products are stored in a safe and efficient manner utilizing warehouse space
3. Accurate handling of merchandise into and out of the warehouse facility
5. Ensuring that all products are safely loaded onto trucks along with being properly wrapped for stability and weather protection
4. Pulling orders accurately in preparation for prompt shipment and verifies the product quantities to the delivery ticket
5. Maintaining safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat
6. Complying with the company procedures, safety rules and health procedures
9. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
· Able to work in an extremely dusty environment
· Able to lift, up to 80 lbs. in a safe manner repetitively
· Forklift and skid steer experience
· Able to handle shifting and multiple priorities efficiently and effectively
· Quality Control – Ensure correct product is being used
· Reliable transportation
· Ability to work in a team environment
· Dependable, Reliable, and Hardworking
· Time Management – Able to work with minimal supervision
· Strong verbal skills

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
