The Contractor Sales Person/Estimator works on the sales floor with customers/builders providing quotes for materials and product advice.
Requirements for this position are:
- Building material and construction knowledge
- Strong people skills for working well with customers, contractors, suppliers and co-workers.
- Ability to calculate quantities and price materials for projects from drawings, material lists etc. (Training can be provided)
- A team attitude and excellent problem solving skills
- Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Occasional job site visits for measuring etc.
This position is full time, usually 45-48 hours per week, no evenings or Sundays. Schedules are prepared on a monthly basis.
