PM Electric is looking to add journeyman, 3rd and 4th year apprentices to our growing team at our Edmonton location.
Our primary work involves the oil and gas industry. PM specializes in retail gas bars, bulk plants, commercial building projects, and lighting services just to name a few. Applicants must be committed to positive safety culture and understand rules, procedures, and practices. You will be required to work a 40-hour, five-day workweek and overtime when the project requires it. Must be willing to work out of town. J-man $36.00 plus 10% holiday pay. This can be negotiated based on knowledge and skill set.
Duty required
Cut, thread, bend, assemble and install conduits and other types of electrical conductor enclosures and fittings
Pull wire through conduits and holes in walls and floors
Position, maintain and install distribution and control equipment such as switches, relays, circuit breaker panels, and fuse enclosures
Install, replace, maintain and repair electrical systems and related electrical equipment
Install data cabling
Splice, join, and connect wire to form circuits
Test circuits to ensure integrity and safety
Mechanical ability
Physical strength and stamina
The ability to distinguish colors to work with color-coded wiring
The ability to work in high places
The ability to get along well with co-workers

Salary: $19.00-$38.00 per hour
