As part of this position, you will be accountable for:
You are a key contributor to the development, planning, implementation and execution of Danone’s business strategies and tactics to increase distribution, sales and maximize profits. You will be responsible for the preservation of existing business and penetration of new business. You will maintain and grow our business relationship with Freshco, Longo’s, Farm Boy and Voila by enhancing credibility, developing trust and providing outstanding service and results.
- Manage and Develop the Freshco Business while leading to 1 direct report managing the Longo’s, Farm Boy and Voila Businesses across all categories.
- Engage in efficient planning by forecasting Volume & Profits budgets through required tasks and initiatives (internal & external) while building strong Customer relationships and managing the daily selling & negotiation processes with Freshco, Longo’s, Farm Boy and Voila accounts.
- Develop, Lead & actively participate in building a Yearly Plan with Customer and engage Danone internal strategic partners to maximize business opportunities, drive profitable growth, grow market shares and manage company objectives.
- Act as central point of negotiation for customer accounts related initiatives in the interest of long-term category development, Danone’s business evolution and Customer Growth agreement
- Coordinate and lead the execution of customer appointments in presenting new products, programs, pricing, and general management of our business.
- Communicate customer account priorities and engage the cross functional teams (shopper solutions, forecasting, finances, marketing, and supply chain) to positively influence business results.
- Support Director with Sobeys procurement concerning Freshco’s current agreements.
- Provide accurate insights & visibility to the Customer Business Team (CBT) director on most recent category trends, issues, risks & opportunities.
- Work with shopper solution team and PRGM to analyze category trends, promotional activity and product assortment to develop selling stories to deliver maximum sales and profits.
- Be a leader, foster team spirit, build efficient team & bring value to the CBT team.

About you
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree completed
- 3 to 5 years as Business Development Manager / Key Account Manager, preferably in the CPG industry
- Strong Excel capabilities
- Strong Selling Skills & Experience with Category Management
- Dynamic and hands-on approach to problems and challenge with a solution driven mindset
- Strong negotiation skills & ability to manage business decisions with regards of Customer Growth agreements
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Organized and an ability to prioritize while working on various initiatives
- Possess a strong sense of partnership with internal and external stakeholders
- Financial Acumen – understand key financial parameters, evaluate risks and make appropriate investment decisions.
