Duties:
- Operate a forklift to move and stack materials in a warehouse or production environment - Safely load and unload trucks and containers using the forklift - Perform order picking and fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on the forklift to ensure proper functioning
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times - Working on the production floor as needed
Skills:
- Proficient in operating a forklift and familiar with different types of forklifts - Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory management - Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with the forklift - Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order picking and inventory tracking - Physical stamina and ability to handle heavy lifting (up to 25kgs) in a fast-paced environment - Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members/Customers and follow instructions
Note: Prior experience as a forklift operator is a must
