Cal Travel & Tours , a Receptive Tour Operator more than 20 years standing in the industry, located in Richmond BC is looking for a Tour Coordinator to join our family. The position provides excellent opportunities to learn and for continuous career growth. Full Time position available with the expected starting date in July 2023
Responsibilities :
Handle telephone and email inquiries
Communicating with agents
Quote current and future rates
Maintain accurate reservations and information
Ensure files are current and orderly
Dealing with complicated group itineraries
Monitor, motivate and group order & purchasing
Liaising with suppliers such as hotel, transportation, restaurant and airlines or booking and schedules
Assist the Manager with additional projects
Qualifications :
The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
Legal entitled to work in Canada
Willing to learn new things and challenge yourself or have work experience in the travel industry or related
Fluency in English and Mandarin and Ability to write in both
Mature and possess a proven ability to work independently within a fast-paced team environment
Proficient with computers
Strong communication, interpersonal and problem solving abilities
