Job Title: CNC Operator
Duties:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, turning, and cutting
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine machine settings and specifications
- Load materials into the machine and ensure proper alignment
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to maintain accuracy and productivity
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in good working condition
- Troubleshoot issues that may arise during the production process
Experience:
- Previous experience operating CNC machines is required
- Strong understanding of CNC programming and machine operation
- Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Knowledge of different types of materials used in machining processes
- Ability to use precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
- Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment
