Nita Lake Lodge opened in January 2008 and is a true mountain retreat. Set in Whistler Creekside on the shores of Nita Lake, the Lodge offers guests a mountain resort experience with close proximity to activities in all seasons. The property features 77 luxurious guest suites, a renowned Day Spa, two restaurants and a cafe.
As one of the first points of contact for Nita Lake Lodge guests, the Shuttle Driver is a part of the Front Office Guest Service Team. Primarily responsible for the safe transportation of passengers from the Lodge to Whistler Village and back, this is a multi-faceted role and is key to the success of the business. Providing a high-level of customer service, the Driver is knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and able to educate the guests on how to have the vacation of their dreams.
You will have an exemplary driving record and possess an Class 4 Unrestricted Drivers License for British Columbia. If you hold an Unrestricted Class 4 license you are one step ahead. Holders of Class 5 license in BC who are eager to obtain their Class 4 Unrestricted license are eligible to apply for this position as training can be provided.
The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Whistler and surrounds and be happy to share this with guests as they arrive and depart the area.
When not in the shuttle, you will be a part of the Front Office team, ensuring entrances to the Lodge are well kept, plants watered and spaces clean and clear. Depending on the season, you will be asked to assist guests with bicycles, canoes, kayaks and paddleboards and, of course, skis and snowboards.
